Don't Wrestle Debt is a fictional campaign on financial literacy developed for the AD Council in March of 2007.
The Ad Council has a long running history of very successful campaigns. This is due in part to great target marketing to both present and future generations simultaneously while being clever and indelible.
Reinforced by television and radio spots, this straight forward pop aproach emphisises encouraging tips from "coach" to avoid wrestling Mr. Debt. Each poster expresses a different tip such as:
"Your library card lets you watch movies for free!"
"Over time, ATM charges add up!" and
"You lived without your raise yesterday. Save it!"
The top of each poster reads "Get coached at www.DWD.org". There, visitors will find an online game which reinforces the message.
